Puppy Love

With everything going on in the world right now, I thought we could all use some puppy love right now. Oreo, Ruby and Lip are sending you lots of hugs and kisses. We will all get through this. Stay healthy.

Grateful March 30

With everything going on with the Corona virus and being in lock down, I thought we could all use a reminder that we are lucky to have all that we do. So I am going to post something I am grateful for everyday while this goes on. I hope you will all join in with me. There is always bad out in the world. Lets shine a light on the good. Stay healthy everyone. Today I am grateful for my garden. I have been gardening since I was little. My dad always had a vegetable garden and I loved helping him with it. Out of 5 kids I am the only one that grows a vegetable garden too. There were a few years when we lived in an apartment that I didn't have one so I would still help my Dad. Now I start everything from seeds indoors. It has really helped me with everything going on. I planted twice the amount of seeds this year. I figured I could give family and friends my extra plants. I was outside working on my herb pots today. My mint is doing great. I don't think I could kill it if I tried.

Stay healthy everyone. Today I am grateful for Oreo. She is a wonderful dog and makes me smile everyday. She is happy to see us, give kisses and will go on walks as much as I want. When the kids were little they would ask who is my favorite. I always said Oreo. She never talks back and she doesn't give me attitude. I know Ruby has been a snuggle bug with OD and keeping her company. Give you fur babies a hug from me.  What are you grateful for today?

I have been praying for you all everyday and night. God bless them all and keep them and their loved ones healthy.  What are you grateful for today?

I have been talking to my parents, OD and sisters almost everyday. YD and I have been baking and cooking together lots. My kids have grown up so fast so I am enjoying having more time with my youngest 2.  What are you grateful for today?

We have had to rearrange things. I am currently writing this in the dining room but I can go get a hug from him whenever I need or want one. Hubby works for a great company. The owner has called to check on everyone. They keep sending out emails to see if anyone needs anything.  What are you grateful for today?

I was able to give some supplies to the man I help since he can't go to the store. My family is eating well and will be for quite a while. What are you grateful for today?

Garden Work Bench

Image
I hope everyone is doing OK. We have been outside as much as possible with all of this wonderful weather. Hubby made me a beautiful garden work bench. I just love it.  We already had everything. The wood is from the kid's old swing set and my sister's swing set that we took down for her.   All of the screws and hooks we had from other projects or yard sale purchases.  I already started using it. My tomatoes needing transplanting into larger pots.  We placed it near the small garden off of the patio. It fits perfectly.

Seeds are planted 2020

Image
I start my garden from seeds every year. I planted tomatoes (3 kinds), peppers (6 kinds), eggplant and celery.  My sister sent me Japanese eggplant seeds. They are her favorite. So I still have to plant them. Hubby hooked up the grow lights for me. They are pretty cool.  Do you grow your plants from seeds? What are you growing?
