Thankful Day 24

Today I am thankful for my paid for cars. All of them are over 10 years old but they are Hubby's and mine. We do not owe anyone anything for them. They all run well and are in good condition. I will never pay another car payment in my life time and I hope my kids don't either.

    I am thankful for my old paid for car too and the fact I do not have any debts. Also for my warm home and comfortable bed!

First Garden Harvest 2020

I hope everyone is healthy and doing alright with our new normal. When the weather permits I have been out side working on the gardens. My kale never died the winter because it was so mild. It recently started growing again.  I was able to pick a nice bunch this morning. I will be incorporating it into our meals this week. YD loves smoothies and always tosses some kale in. The gardening season has finally begin! Have you harvested anything from your garden yet this year?

Oreo Got Hurt

She is OK and that is the most important thing. We are not sure exactly what she did to herself but she started limping Monday night. I checked her paw to make sure there was nothing in it. Hubby and I decided to block the stairs and have her sleep on the first floor. She usually sleeps in our room. Hubby brought down her bed to the living room. In the middle of the night she did a loud yelp. You have to step on her for her to yelp so it was very strange. Hubby and I flew down the stairs to check on her. She was in pain and didn't want to put her foot down. We got her to lay down and I got ice on her leg. I wasn't sure if it was her paw, leg or shoulder. She finally went back to sleep and I did too.  YD is the first to get up and I heard her walking around. 2 minutes later Oreo let out another huge yelp. I ran down the stairs and she was in the kitchen. She had an accident on the floor and wanted to go outside. We have one little step out the back door and she had no prob...
