Ice Cracking


Hubby and I went away for a long weekend with another couple. We would walk down to the lake everyday.


It was so quiet. The only noise was the ice cracking.



It was so peaceful.


I can't wait to go back.

      It is so different from where I live. It is never quiet on Long Island. And the stars are so bright by the lake.

      The weather is cold then warms up a little so the ice shifts and cracks. It is cool to see.

    Oh wow, that is so beautiful. I remember seeing Lake Michigan from the city of Chicago. The waves would be up so high and just freeze that way. It was a beautiful sight.
