Thankful Day 4

Today I am thankful for eBay and Craigslist. They make it possible for me to get rid of things I no longer want or need and help me get them to other people that want them. It helps keep stuff out of landfills and puts some money in my pocket. Yesterday I sold some old cooking magazines on eBay that are going across the country. Hubby sold our old snowblower on Craigslist yesterday too. I am able to add items when I have time. I can do it at 6 am or 8 pm.

I have also been able to find items that I wanted or needed because of Craigslist and eBay. They cost me a fraction of the price of a new item. I do not need to buy everything brand new. Some items are actually better older. They may not be made anymore, such as old car parts.

What are you thankful for today?

  1. I am thankful you posted about ebay. I have Byers Carolers that represent our family and our family is increasing rapidly thanks to 2 fall weddings. I had been looking at purchasing the additional figures and really did not want to spend 70 bucks each to add to the tribe. Searching ebay today I found several that will work very well and they are in the 25 dollar range. Thanks so much!

  2. Hello Mcoia and everyone :).

Today we are thankful for a friend who is selling our unwanted house items on Gumtree for us as we don't have the time and she has already sold 1 items for us :) .

We are also thankful for eBay as we make some spare needed cash for our budget selling our homegrown dried herbs, lavender and my handcrafted sewn items. We also purchase a lot of things for our home and cars from there at a fraction of the cost too.

  3. I am thankful for time spent with family this weekend. I am also thankful that when I got some time at home later afternoon/evening today, I still had some energy to clean up some very bad messes and fold and put away several baskets of laundry that had been decorating my living room. Now, I feel more ready to face the week ahead!

    1. I love when all of the laundry is folded and put away. Probably because it doesn't happen everyday and it sits in my room watching me.
