Friday Freebies

When I dropped the kids to my sister's house for their trip to Italy, my sister gave me some flowers from her garden. They are beautiful shades of blues and purples.  She also gave me food that would not last for 2 weeks while they are away.  I had gotten $10 for my birthday from Bob's Stores that was going to expire. I was not feeling well so my son went. He couldn't find any clothes that he wanted so he got himself snacks instead. I guess that is better then letting it go to waste.  Our neighbor gave this to Hubby. They are still cleaning out their house for the big move. We went to my nephew's graduation party. I was given some late presents for my birthday. I do love gift cards. Hubby needed a tool from Harbor Freight so he used a free item coupon and got rags.  My Dad gave me a bag of dried oregano that he grew in his garden. I promise it is oregano. Hubby was afraid we would be pulled over and have to explain it....

I got lots of freebies this week. It was my birthday last weekend so that gets you lots of free stuff. I sign up for rewards programs and several give you something for your birthday. I have gotten a coupon from Panera for a free pastry, IHOP for free pancakes, Baskin Robbins for a free ice cream cone, and Sephora for free makeup. I already ate the ice cream and got the makeup. It will go into my gift stash as I am not a big makeup person. I have time to use the rest.   I got some wonderful gifts. I have been using more essential oils for health and cleaning purposes. I wanted a diffuser and got one with some Chamomile oil to help me sleep better. Rollers (sorry not pictured) were also given. Thanks Hubby. I also got lots of homemade cards .  My son gave me a book so I can make more blends. I have already made 2. I love books. I like to have it in my hands to read.  YD gave me my favorite cookies. They are so good and made on Long Island l...

It was my birthday this week. I am 44 years old. My sister came over to celebrate and brought lobsters and steaks. She is always very generous and she brought way too much. Hubby cooked and it was delicious. There was leftover lobster that I happily ate the next day. We put the extra pack of steaks in the freezer for another night. My sister brought lemons for the lobsters and the kale drinks that my daughter loves.  She gave me lots of snacks and Ziploc baggies for my birthday. I love that she knows I don't need more stuff.  The chocolate covered pretzels are so good.  YD gave me my favorite cookies for my birthday. These will not last long. I have no control when it comes to these.  My son brought home lots of bagels, cookies and pastries. The chocolate pastries are my favorite.   I did do some shopping this week. Hubby and I went to Stop & Shop. They had corn on sale 10 for $2 which is the best I can ge...
