March 2019 Goals Updated
Financial
Food
- Put 15% into retirement. Thank you 401K plan
- Grocery Budget of $400 average for the year. We upped it to $500.
- List 50 new items on eBay and Craigslist. I only listed 31
- Make $150 side hustle Nope.

- Go over our budget with Hubby Did it!
- Go over the kid's budgets with each of them. Done
- YD apply for scholarships. All of the HS scholarships were due this month. She handed them all in early. Now we are working on other local scholarships such as the local banks.

Family
- Celebrate Hubby and my anniversary, He took the day of off work. We went out to lunch and walked around town.
- Celebrate my son's 20th birthday. We celebrated for several days. I can't believe he is 20!
- Go on a date with Hubby. We went out to dinner with a GC when the kids were away . We went out to lunch for our anniversary. We went out to dinner paid for by a work bonus. It was a great month of dates.
- Talk with OD at least 5 times a week. Always!
- Take Oreo for recheck She is all better.
- Send nephew birthday present. Sent and received.
- Help at church event. YD and I had a great time and raised a lot of money for the church.
- YD dentist. She had a bad cold so we rescheduled for April.
Personal
- Work out 15 minutes every other day. I didn't do it every other day but I did it a lot. I am happy with what I did.
- Go for walk on any nice day. Oreo and I have been going on lots of walks.
- Read 2 books I read Everyday Millionaire by Chris Hogan. I borrowed it from the library. It was good. I bought Foraging New York by Steve Brill. I love it. Learned so much.
- Have friends over for dinner. We had a great time. We also had my parents over another day.
Food
- Do one meatless meal a day. I think we didn't do this 3 times.
- Do one day a week with no meat at all. With Lent, this is easy. No meat on Fridays
- Try 2 new recipes. I made a french toast casserole. I made GF muffins
- Get another pantry item to 6 months. I got my cranberry vitamins for a great price. I have more then a years supply now. I got olive oil too. Oreo's flea and tick meds were clearance so I got a years worth.
- No food waste. Mashed potatoes went in the garbage. How did I miss them.
Cleaning
- Work on basement It looks great. Hubby rearranged it and hung curtains up to separate my food storage and his work area.
Cleaning
- Declutter I have been doing this. Several more boxes went to the church. My son did his book shelf and desk. YD did her room.
Garden
- Plan out what to grow Done
- Plant seeds that need to be started indoors. I planted 3 kinds of tomatoes, 4 kinds of peppers, celery, eggplants, lettuce, Swiss chard, cucumbers, zucchini, and yellow squash. I think that is everything so far.
- Order seeds that I might need I only needed peas so I got them locally.
- Look into what kind of apple tree to get/order We decided not to do this this year. We got 40+ raspberry canes free

Projects
- Get curtain for laundry area and hang it up Done and it looks great
- Hubby fix broken kitchen cabinet Did it
- Get prices for new sliding door.Still working on it.
