Things that are making me happy...

* This weather has been beautiful the last 2 days. Spring is really here. It is 65 and sunny. It is the perfect weather in my opinion. I am happy when I am in a t-shirt and jeans. I can work in the garden without a sweatshirt or sweating to death. I know it won't last long but right now it is making me so happy.

* Homemade pizza. Hubby wanted pizza so I made 2 doughs in my bread machine. I cooked a few sausage (that I got on sale) and used up some veggies that were in the drawer and freezer. I also made a cheese one for me. I whipped up a batch of focaccia bread for YD and made her a few slices of pizza on that. There is plenty leftover for an easy lunch. And it didn't cost us a small fortune to order out.

* Hubby took a few days off this week. He is getting lots of items checked off of the honey do list.

* Since Hubby is working hard around the house and yard, I made us milkshakes. He had dairy free strawberry and I had chocolate. They cost me less then a $1 to make them at home verses $10 to get them out.

* The clearance racks are still going strong at Stop & Shop. I have gone several times this week and have scored big time each visit. I have gotten items for my sisters and friends since they are so low cost. Getting things I use all the time for 75% off makes me very happy.

What is making you happy today?

  1. Same weather here yesterday and today. maybe most of tomorrow as well. Sunshine and warmth is just what the 'doctor' ordered for me. I sure needed it.
I received a beautiful patriotic wreath for my door today from a dear friend in CO. That was sweet and made me happy.

    1. I am so glad. Sunshine really helps. It also allows all of the animals to visit you which I know you love. Hugs and prayers.

  3. Our weather is beautiful right now and I will be stuck in the basement all day. But I am grateful for the warmth. What a good deal on olive oil!

    1. I did several hours in the basement today fixing my food storage. I had to move a bunch of it for when the electrician was here.
