September 2019 Goals

Even though September is almost half over, I thought I would post these anyway. Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful time of year. 

Financial
- Put 15% into retirement. 
Grocery Budget of $500 average for the year. 
- Go over our budget with Hubby 
- Go over the kid's budgets with each of them. 
Family
- Attend Family picnic
- Attend Hubby's work picnic
- Go apple picking
- YD come home for a weekend
- Talk with OD and YD at least 5 times a week.

Personal
- Go on a date with Hubby
- Go for walks every other day
- Send 2 cards to loved ones 
- Go back to doctor/ more blood work?
- Make mammogram appointment 
- Post at least twice a week

Food
- Get 50 pound bag of potatoes from farm. 
- Get lots of apples and make apple juice, apple sauce and ACV
- Get corn from farm and preserve for winter
- Do one meatless meal a day.
- Do one day a week with no meat at all. 
- Try 2 new recipes.  
- Get another pantry item to 6 months. 
- No food waste.  

Cleaning
- Clean carpet in YD's room 

Garden/ Yard
- Harvest and preserve for the winter
- Start pulling dead plants.

Projects
- Get fridge fixed
- Do a complete blackout and test generator one night. 

Cars
- Get new tires and have them put on truck

  1. I make weekly goals, not monthly ones. :)
    I have to make a new budget sometime soon, because some of the expenses went up.

  3. Your list of goals is admirable, Marybeth. I have been looking at the prices for the 50 pound bag of potatoes too. I would love to be able to get a real bargain on them. :)

    1. I think I paid $18 for the harvest gold last year. I will be hoping to do the same this year.
