Personal
- Work out 15 minutes everyday Lets not talk about it.
- Read 2 books. I read The Final Day by William Forstchen.
Food
- Do one meatless meal a day. I think we didn't do this twice. I call that a win.
- Do one day a week with no meat at all. We did this 4 times
- Try 2 new recipes. I did 4. I made a Mexican chick pea salad. YD and my son loved it. Hubby said it was OK. That is code for I will eat it but don't make it often. We made Cinnamon Raisin French Toast. I made a BBQ chick pea wrap. I made mini chocolate cheesecakes.
- Get another pantry item to 6 months. I bought more rice. I got a 25 pound bag of GF flour for YD. I am thinking that will be good for 6 months. I bought 6 large cans of whole tomatoes.
- No food waste. I threw away some odds and ends out when we tore apart the laundry closet/pantry. There were some stale graham crackers and the bottom of a chip bag. I think hubby said he threw out something one day from the fridge but I don't remember what.
Cleaning
Cleaning
- Clean out all of the kitchen cabinets. We ended up tearing apart the laundry closet/ pantry that is in the kitchen. I had done most of the cabinets before we did it. I still have 3 left to do.
- Clean out my closet . Nope but I did the coat closet.
- Redo laundry area. It is done except for the bar and curtain. We are going to buy them this weekend.
How did you do on your January goals?
Hey that sounds like great progress to me , just doing what you are doing sounds like exercise.
